This project is an ongoing collaboration with two Goan scientists, currently working in Columbia University's Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory. It is an animation that seeks to communicate their research on a phytoplankton named ‘Noctiluca Scintillans’ found in the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman. Since it is a work in progress, here is a demo illustration I made of a scene from the animation, with the scientists observing a digital hyper-wall of satellite images.
